Lasts.
Last night. Last ice cream in a beloved plaza with a water fountian.
A plaza that has so many memories. Of so many ages and times past.
Plaza de Aramas in Iquitos Peru is a place where I wish I could see a video of all the times I've been there and all the amounts of crazy things we've done and maybe the amount of gallons of ice cream I've eaten next to that fountian.
A place that has seen so many faces, activities, moods, and conversations.
It's basically the place to be.
Maybe if I had to choose to be a place.. I would be this plaza.

Universal Prayer
Tonight a realization hit me.
The girls of the school wanted to pray for me in our nightly closing prayer.
We were in a circle and just by chance.. The two Latin girls were on my right, and two Americans on my left. They began to pray, all at the same time just in general. And I'm sitting listening to their prayers when all of the sudden.. I realize.. I'm listening to Spanish in one ear and Elnglish in the other! They're both praying for me... My brain is hearing two languages at the EXACT SAME time...
And it understands!
It wasn't just a shock of realizing you understand a whole second language... Cause those moments happen to me all the time. (ok. sounds haughty much? noooot my intention) But I think it was one of the first times I've just sat listening to both at the exact time... it was amazing to sit there and listen to these girls prayers for me and see the beauty of the body of Christ. Where each girl who comes from different couties and different languages, and even though not everyone could understand the other...
Prayer united us as a family is Christ.

Lookit this find.
"Sometimes the sky is dark with clouds as its only friend. Sometimes we look up to see a hopeless end and find a mound to mend. Shall we mend with our thoughts. Should thought be a word put into action. Should an action have meaning without seasoning? Should the reason for that seasoning come from a passing pleasing? Pleasing should be ceasing to call out to us. Our names for fame are all in vain. go beyond whats asked is unheard of in a society of fallen belief. You see actions, reasoning and all of the above...they are the result of not going beyond."
